The forecast is calling for several days of extreme heat, which means your air conditioner will be working harder than it has all year. Before you assume something is wrong, keep these things in mind: ✅ Set your thermostat to a comfortable temperature and leave it there. Constantly lowering it won't cool your home any faster. ✅ Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day to help block out the sun. ✅ Replace your air filter. Good airflow makes a big difference. ✅ Avoid using ovens, dryers, and other heat-producing appliances during the afternoon if possible. ✅ If your system seems to be running nonstop, don't panic! During extreme heat, it's completely normal for many systems to run longer than usual to keep up. If your system stops cooling, is blowing warm air, or you notice ice forming on the unit, give us a call. Our team is here to help.
